I published some videos and then sent links to my acquaintances. Some people were able to hear sound but no video. The others were able to see both video and audio perfectly. What is the problem?

Online audiences have different internet connection speeds when viewing videos.

Some of your audience were able to hear only sound because they might have less bandwidth available to them than what is required by the video. In general, it is best to create multiple videos for different ranges of bandwidth connections. For example, you may want to create two videos - one for dial-up (56Kbps) users and the other for broadband users (128Kbps).

Windows Media 9 has the ability to create MBR (multi bit-rate) videos. These type of videos contain multiple streams encoded at different bit-rates. If you create a MBR video the VideoDesk's Windows Media 9 streaming server can automatically adjust the video depending on the connection speed of the viewer.

DeskShare's Video Caster supports creating MBR videos. You can download the latest version of Video Caster from http://www.deskshare.com/vc.aspx
