I read that it should be possible to cut frames out of a video clip.
Could you please give me a hint as to how to do this?

The selection sliders make it very simple to select a portion of the timeline, cut or copy it and then paste it to another location in the timeline. Video Edit Magic uses same type of editing operations on all video, audio and image files added to the timeline. This makes it seamless to edit clips using cut, copy and paste.

The key to frame-based editing in Video Edit Magic is to use Previous Frame and Next Frame preview controls along with Split Timeline Tracks. Using Previous Frame and Next Frame buttons, position the slider on the frame that you want to edit. From the Tools menu, select Split Timeline tracks. After splitting, Video Edit Magic treats the two resulting pieces as individual media clips. Now you can cut, copy, paste and drag these pieces around.
