I record a 1 hour TV program to the hard disk drive on my PAL Panasonic digital HD BW 500. The Panasonic directly writes to a DVD disc. I wish to transfer the DVD to my computer to MPEG format and then trim it in a video editor.

The problem is there are 5 VOB files on the DVD but I want one continuous MPEG file.

Is it possible to end up with one file?

We have a product specifically designed to extract the VOB files from your DVD. Rip DVD Plus will transfer your DVD video into a single file on your computer.

Rip DVD Plus will even allow you to crop and trim the video, so a video editor is not needed.

You can download a free evaluation of Rip DVD Plus here
