In Splitting Video, there are three movie viewing screens at the top. The far right one has the movie I'm trying to split, the middle and left one, are black. According to the tutorial, they should also have a movie in them. How do I fix this so I can follow the tutorial and create my movie with splits?

The left frame is the preview window, the center frame is the start of the video, and the right frame is the end of the video. The Left and Center frames may be dark because your video begins with a dark frame. Adjust the start and end time of the split and you will see that the left and center frames will change.
