It takes about 4 hours to convert 1 hour of DVR-MS to VCD. Is this the fastest format or is DVD faster to convert to? These need to be played in a DVD player and must be put through DVD shrink which does not recognize VCD. I am new to this and would appreciate any help.

DVR-MS files take time to convert to any Video format. This is normal because DVR-MS formats have very high resolution and are highly compressed. To help with this issue, we have provided an optional setting that allows you to turn off your computer after the conversion is complete.
