Yes, Video Edit Magic supports QuickTime (MOV).

You need to install the latest version of QuickTime, and while installing select the Recommended or Full installation. By default, the QuickTime Player installs with the Minimum (or Typical) installation option.

QuickTime files must be converted to AVI format before they can be edited.

To convert a Quick Time file to AVI:

1.On the Tools menu, click on Media Converter.
2. In Step 1 of the Media file Conversion Wizard specify the source (MOV) file path and destination (AVI) file path.
3. Select an appropriate compressor in Step2 and click Next to start the conversion process
