I just finished my recording, which also includes audio. This is a long recording and file size is over 8 Mb too high to email to anyone. How can I compress it? How do I post this on my website for people to see?

Thanks in advance for your help

With My Screen Recorder, you can create screen recordings in AVI only. The default compressor, "Microsoft Video 1", produces good quality screen recordings with reasonable file size.
If you want to change the Video compressor:
1.On the Tools menu, click Settings.
2.Click on the Video tab and then select the Compressor you want

You can also select an audio compressor like "MPEG Layer-3" to compress audio. This should reduce the file size. Even though a different compressor may result in reduced file size, it is not small enough for e-mailing or posting it on your website. If you intend to use My Screen Recorder for this purpose, we recommend you to use My Screen Recorder Pro instead.

My Screen Recorder Pro also gives you the ability to convert your AVI files to very small WMV files. With WMV, all Windows users can view your screen recordings. WMV is also ideally suited for e-mailing and posting on websites.
