Basically i want to remove just a certain part of the video audio. also i want to turn it into .mpg but every time i do it turn into like a 600 mb file. can anybody tell me how to reduce this.

There are many different types of MPEG files. Video Edit Magic supports:
1. MPEG - 1 for VCD
2. MPEG - 2 for SVCD
3. MPEG - 2 for DVD
For each one of these, NTSC and PAL picture standards are supported.

VCD offers the smallest file size. However with SVCD and DVD, it is normal to have file sizes as large as 600 MB or even more. The SVCD or DVD burning software compresses these files before burning them to the disc.
