I am trying to capture video on the free downloadable version of Video Edit Magic 4.0. I have a Panasonic PVGS-120, and I am using a DVC USB to connect it to my Dell Latitude. The computer recognizes the camera (it appears on the Found New Hardware display), but when I try to capture an image on Video Edit Magic (using Tools]Capture or F3), it says that no Capture Device can be found.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Video Edit Magic's provides you with an option to capture in AVI from a DV camera or camcorders.

DV Cameras connected to a USB port does not capture videos. It will allow you to copy photos stored in the camera's memory chip. You need a capture card with a FireWire port to capture videos from your DV camera.
