I'm working on a small music video, and I'm trying to use the image transform effect (greyscale), with Colour Channel. I want to get that old wild west effect. Slight tint of orange over black and white. Everytime I try to add the color effect, it pushes the image transform effect over.

Is there anyway to overlap effects to use them simultaneously at all?

You cannot overlap two different types of effects in a single effect track. However, this is how you can achieve the effect you want:

1. Add the Image Transform effect to the track.
2. Make a temporary movie in uncompressed AVI.
3. Add the temporary movie back to the Timeline.
4. Now add the Color Channel effect.

Uncompressed AVI will ensure that you will not lose any quality in the process. However, the file size required to save an uncompressed AVI file is quite high.
