I have a Sharp VL-Z7U digital camcorder with no firewire output, only composite. I have only been able to capture videos as one long piece using WinFast PVR which came with my video card.
Is there any way in Video Edit Magic to break the video into clips for each scene? I currently have a purchased version of Video Edit Magic 4.0 installed. Works beautifully but cutting a captured file into scenes is very time consuming.

We are planning on providing scene detection, but not in the capture process. The scene detection will be handled directly for all types of video files in Video Edit Magic's Collections window.
