Can I burn a dvd that will work on a Pioneer DVR-433H DVD player / recorder?

Before I buy this product, I have a question:
I want to copy pictures to a DVD to play on a Pioneer DVR-433H cd/dvd recorder with my TV. Will this product make a recording that can be used on the cd/dvd-player?

DVD Author Plus is free.

If you would like to play your images on a video DVD, you can use Auto Movie Creator to make a slideshow movie. More information about making a slideshow movie is available in this article:

Create the slideshow movie in WMV format or MPEG2 format. DVD Author Plus will burn your movie onto a video DVD that will work in any video DVD player.
