Yes, you can restrict user's access to specific projects.
Make sure that the user you have created has user privelages and not Secondary Administrator privelages. A user can be assigned to a particular project team. Only team members of a project are allowed to view the project related information. To restrict a user's access to a specific project, add the user only to that project.
To add a user to a specific project team, you should login as the Administrator or Secondary Administrator and click Projects ] Project List. Next, select the project you want to add the user to. While viewing the project details, click on "VIEW/EDIT TEAM" to add the user to the project.
Inside the project, the access rights that different team members enjoy depend upon the privileges assigned to them.
The different privileges are:
Individuals Own Tasks: This right is assigned, by default, to all users to view the tasks that are assigned to him/her within the project.
User Level Rights: These rights enable a user to add/edit/view or delete all tasks assigned by him/her to any team member of the project.
Project Manger Level Rights -These rights enable a user to add/edit/view or delete all tasks assigned to all team members for the project.
