When I put a check in the box to My "out going mail requires authentication" I get access denied when it tries to send the email. I have verified that everything is correct as for the outgoing mail server and the username and password. I even checked that I am using the correct port. I know that my server does require authentication. If I leave the box unchecked it tells me it went through but I never get the email.

Make sure that you are using the latest version of WebCam Monitor. To download the latest version, visit:

It seems like the e-mail is being sent. However, because your e-mail server requires authentication, it might be denying a relay to your e-mail.

To diagnose e-mail related problems, you can view the e-mail log after attempting to send a test e-mail. This option is available in Tools ] Options ] Alerts tab ] Email/SMS Notification.

If this is a relay problem then you will have to contact your ISP.
