When I try to input my video, I get a message saying that Video Edit Magic can't find my Mini-DV camcorder. Any suggestions?

Please upgrade to the latest versions of the following components:

1. DirectX
2. Windows Media Player

You can download the latest version of DirectX from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&DisplayLang=en

To download the latest version of Windows Media Player, click:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/mp10/default.aspx

To check your current version of DirectX:
1. Click Start and then click Run
2. Enter "dxdiag" (without quotes)
3. Click OK.

You will find the DirectX version listed under the System tab of the DirectX Diagnostic Tool
