After editing, I created a movie in AVI file. The movie file size was very large. What is the problem?

The key to achieve low file size and optimum quality is to use Video/Audio Compressors when saving to AVI and Video/Audio Profiles when saving to WMF. Incorrect choice of compressors/profiles can lead to large file sizes and/or low quality.

Recommended Video Compressors:
1.Microsoft MPEG-4 for high quality compressions
2.Microsoft Video 1 for distributing to a wide audience.
3.MJPEG for fast real time conversions.

You may find our article on Understanding Compression in AVI useful:

Recommended Audio Compressors
1) MPEG Layer 3
2) Microsoft Windows Audio
3) Lernout & Hauspie

Video Edit Magic also provides an advanced Auto Select feature which chooses the best compressor on the basis of highest/ Average frame rate.
