How to speed up the video

I want to make part of the video clip go fast and part with slow motion. How can I do this. Any assistance would be greatle appreciated.

You can speed up or slow the motion in your video clip by resizing it. Drag the clip that is placed in the Timeline by grabbing the top-right corner to stretch or squeeze it. Read the article: Speeding Up or Slowing Down Video Clip Playback
