Is there a Join option which does the opposite of Split. Kind of like the Seam option in other video editors?

To join two video clips, simply add them both to the Timeline, one after another. (The Pack Timeline command on the Tools menu can help make sure there are no gaps.) Then just Make Movie, and you'll have a new movie containing both the previous clips.

I have an add-on question.
We read in a DVD and VEM broke it into pieces. So far so good. We wanted to take two of the pieces, VOB3 and VOB4, and join them together. When we applied the technique described above there's a noticeable blip in the created move at the seam. Is there a way to seamlessly rejoin VOB3 and VOB4?
In other words: VEM split them apart initially so it should be possible to seamlessly rejoin them, but how?

We recommend that, when you are making video files which will be edited again (like your VOB3 and VOB4), you create AVI files. The AVI format is well-suited for editing. If you split your DVD file into pieces and save them as AVI, you should have no problems joining them.
However, the technique that will produce the best possible quality is to simply edit the original VOB file, using the Split or Split Timeline commands to cut out the sections you want to keep and moving them around on the Timeline. Each time you Make Movie you are recompressing the video, and each recompression reduces the quality of the audio and picture.
