Does Video Edit Magic have a program to transfer video from a video camera to the computer? After editing or putting a video on your hard drive, can Video Edit Magic make a transfer to a DVD-RAM disk?

Yes, Video Edit Magic can download (or "capture") video from your camera to the computer. I would suggest you read our article
Connecting a Digital Camera to Your Windows PC
.
Video Edit Magic can create MPEG 2 files. You would then use your own DVD authoring program to create a DVD. A DVD authoring program probably came bundled with your DVD drive or computer.
