Hi, I am looking for a program where i can cut clips off movies and save them, and i came across video edit magic. Although it is more then what i was after, it would be more useful to have then just a cutter. all i want to know, because i can't work it out with the trial version. Can I put a movie into this program and cut a clip out of it, then save that clip as a small video file? And, will that video clip be saved as AVI or MPEG format if i choose? so i have only that small video clip in AVI or MPEG or whatever format i choose to save it as...

Video Edit Magic can easily cut a clip from a longer movie and save it as either an AVI or MPEG (or QuickTime, or Windows Media) file. We have an article on our web site, Removing Unnecessary Footage, that explains the techniques you would use to do this, along with another article, Getting Edited Videos Out Of Your PC which explains how to turn your clips into AVI or MPEG files.
