Greetings,
I have successfully edited my multimedia, but cannot save the the edited content as a video file. I can only save the edited content as a project file.
I have looked through the users manual, but I cannot find how to do this.
Does the original multimedia content need to be converted to AVI format before I can edit then save the data as a video file ?

You need to use the "Make Movie" feature to create a new movie. See the following article: http://www.deskshare.com/resources/articles/vem_GettingEditedVideos_outofPC.aspx
