I downloaded the program in order to capture swf (flash) files. Will this software do this? If so,
I could not find any instructions.

There are no special requirements to capture a Flash movie. Just capture your screen in the standard way.

I am having a tough time converting the AVI files to another format. Specifically I am using the Adobe Encoder to convert the AVI to a FLV file. Do you have any problems converting the AVI generated by MSR to other formats?

We have not tested with Adobe Encoder. I would recommend trying Digital Media Converter Pro to convert the AVI files to FLV format. We have tested this, and it works perfectly.

You can download a trial version of Digital Media Converter Pro here.
