Extracting audio from avi file?

Is it possible for me to extract just the audio from an AVI file and save as an mp3 or other type of audio file?

You can add the AVI file to the Timeline, then "Make Movie" and create a WAV file. To convert the WAV file to other audio formats (MP3, AAC, M4A) we recommend Digital Media Converter Pro.
