How do I lighten my video footage?

We didn't use enough light when we recorded. Is there a way to lighten the footage? Reshooting would be tough.

To lighten your video clip:

1. Drag the video clip to a video track.
2. Switch to the Effects tab in the Collections window.
3. Drag the Brightness and Contrast effect to the Effects Track for the video clip.
4. The Properties window will open. Increase the brightness.
5. Click OK.
6. Use the mouse to adjust the duration of the effect to match the duration of the video clip.

Your clip will now appear brighter. You can adjust the brightness and contrast to give the perfect appearance to your video.
