Can we use two separate effects simultaneously?

Hi,
I just read a post from March '05 about using more than one effect simultaneously.

I lightened the whole track using the Brightness/Contrast effect with the exception of 3 seconds of footage that includes a text tile. How can I achieve the result I'm looking for?

You can use the method explained in the previous message.

As an alternative, you can edit your movie using Auto Movie Creator. Auto Movie Creator allows you to add any number of effects to a video clip.
