My camera is not on your supported list. What do I do?

My camera is not on the list of cameras that work with Security Monitor Pro. What should I do next?

If your networked IP camera does not appear on the list, we will be happy to add support for the camera to our software. In order to add support, we will need to test your camera. If you would like to have us support your camera in Security Monitor Pro, please mail the following information to DeskShare Support (support@deskshare.com):

1. The camera's IP address. You can find your IP address here.
2. Any user name and password you have configured for your camera.

If your camera is on a local network (LAN), you will need to enable "Port Forwarding" so that our developers can test your camera. Instructions for forwarding the appropriate ports are available here:
