Hi there.

I'm using Video Edit Magic to cut together a little promotional video for a game I developed, and I think I've run into an unfortunate restriction (with hopefully an easy fix).

In my timeline, I use an "Animated Transform" effect to smoothly rotate and scale my image 90 degrees. Then a "Rotate" effect to keep it locked in the orientation.

But my problem is I now want to either rotate back, or rotate the other way. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, I seem to only be able to start a new rotation from the original orientation. I can set my initial scale just fine, but I can't set rotation... at least without generating a dummy pre-rotated file.

You are correct. The Animated Transform effect always begins with the original image. As you wrote, the only way to produce the appearance you are looking for is to create a movie showing the image in a rotated position, then use Animated Transform on that new movie.
