Security Monitor Pro: Enabling Motion or Noise Detection

Enabling Motion or Noise Detection

In certain surveillance scenarios, you might feel that effective monitoring can be carried out only by Motion Detection.  For instance, if you are monitoring a store in a noisy location, you might want to switch off noise monitoring to prevent false alarms.  Similarly, there may be situations where you want Noise Detection but want to disable the Motion Detection feature to save resources.  At other times it is important to detect both motion or noise.

By default, the motion detection feature is enabled.  To enable or disable motion/noise detection for a particular camera, select it by clicking on its preview window and click on the Camera Monitoring Options button or click on Tools > Camera Monitoring Options.  On the Monitoring With Alerts tab, check or uncheck the Detect Motion with Sensitivity and/or the Detect Noise with Sensitivity option, depending on your surveillance requirements.
