| Site Translator : Settings |
Settings
You can change the settings of Site Translator either by selecting Tools >> Settings
OR
Clicking on the icon on the toolbar.
You can change the following settings:
General Tab

Include subdirectories during translation: If you select this option and choose to translate a folder, Site Translator will search all sub-folders within that folder and convert the contents of those folders as well. If folder1 contains folder2 and folder3, the program will convert the contents of all three folders, and create new folders named folder1, folder2, and folder3 containing the translated files.
Translate all files with following extensions: You can use these options to determine which file types are translated. For instance, you can leave XML files untranslated by un-checking the .xml checkbox (See the above figure). By selecting or unselecting extensions, you can choose to translate or not translate files of types *.htm, *.html, *.asp, *.aspx, *.ascx, *.php, *php3, *.phtml, *.resx, and *.xml. After translation, the original files are retained. You can view files in the list, either the original or the translated version by double-clicking on them. The file will be opened in the Windows' default web browser.
If you Delete Translated File History, Site Translator will clear the list of previously translated files and folders.
Translate Websites
If you select Block pop-ups, no pop-up windows will open while you use the Translate Websites feature.
Press Delete Translated URLS History to clear the pages from the Translate Websites window. This allows the pages to be translated again, after customizing Translation Memory.
Click Default to restore all the settings to their original values.
Proxy Tab

If your computer uses a proxy to connect to the Internet, Site Translator will try to find the correct settings automatically. If auto-detection does not work, consult your network administrator for help in configuring the proxy settings.
