Working with Translation Memory
Site Translator uses Translation Memory to improve both the speed and the accuracy of translations. Translation Memory contains a record of already-translated pairs of words and phrases. For instance, the French-English section might have Frère: Brother, indicating that whenever the word "frère" is displayed in the French text, it should be translated as "brother".
When you translate, the program first searches the Translation Memory for matches. If it finds a match for the word/phrase it is currently translating, it substitutes the value from Translation Memory. If the phrase is not found, the program connects to the remote server to derive a translation. This translation is stored in the Translation Memory.
You can manually add word pairs to the Translation Memory.
