Changing Effect Settings

The settings of these effects can be changed:

  1. Animated Transform
  2. Blind
  3. Blur
  4. Brightness/Contrast Effect
  5. Color Channel
  6. Image Transform
  7. Pan and Zoom
  8. Pixelate
  9. Posterize
  10. Rotate Effect
  11. Threshold
  12. Wave

Other effects have no settings you can modify.

Effect settings can be changed by using the Properties button while the effect is being added to a clip.  To change effect settings after an effect is added to a clip on the Storyboard, right-click on the effect(s) icon (a blue or yellow star on the clip) or the clip and select Effects, or press Ctrl + E.  Select an effect from the Applied Effects list by clicking on it and click Properties.  The settings for the effect can be changed from the dialog that opens.  More effects can be added, effects already applied can be removed, and the order in which effects are applied can be changed (by clicking on Move Up / Move Down button) using the Effects dialog.
