Changing Snaps Output Format

The capture tool saves all captured snaps in the specified Snaps Output Format.  By default, the capture tool uses JPEG as a output format for the snaps.  You can set the quality level for the JPEG format (.jpg).  The capture tool can also save snaps as Bitmaps (.bmp).  To change snap settings, open the Capture menu and choose Options.  The Snaps Output Format settings are on the General tab of the Options window.

Like the names of video capture files, snap file are also sequenced by appending numbers to the file name, if a file of the same name already exists.
