Changing Conversion Settings

By default, all files are converted to Windows Media Video format for Desktop Viewing and saved to the My Documents folder of your PC. These defaults can be changed from the Settings window.

Changing Destination Folder

To change the path where the converted files will be saved:

1. Under General Settings, specify where you want to save the converted files. Either type the path or click on the Browse button beside Destination folder for converted files.
2. Click OK.

Changing Temporary Folder

To change the path where the temporary files will be saved:

1. Under General Settings, specify the path where you want the temporary files to be saved. Either enter the path or click on the Browse button under Temporary Working Folder.
2. Click OK

Changing Convert To Format

To change the Convert To format:

1. Under General Settings, choose whether to convert to Video or Audio.
2. Select a format from the Convert To Format box.
3. Click the Properties tab or the Properties button to change the settings for the selected format.
4. Click OK when done.

Configure Automatic Shutdown after batch conversion

For Digital Media Converter Pro to shut down your PC after conversion is complete:

1. Under General Settings, check Shutdown the computer after conversion.
2. Click OK.

Reset Warning Dialogs

Some of Digital Media Converter Pro's warnings have a checkbox for Do not show this message again.  If you would like to reactivate these warnings:

1. Under Advanced, click Reset Warning Messages.
