Painting with Brush Tool

Brush tool creates soft strokes of color.  It offers you countless ways to get creative.  For example, you can draw an object with different colors, adjust the thickness and transparency of the color.  When you choose a brush, you can adjust its settings to achieve the effect you want.  You can specify basic brush attributes such as brush size, opacity.  Size determines the dimension of your brush.  Opacity controls the degree to which stroke covers the underlying pixel. 

Selecting A Brush Tool

In toolbox, select the icon
When you select brush tool, a circle appears onscreen.  Drag it on the screen, to put your imagination on the canvas. 

Adjust Brush Size

To adjust the brush size,

  • Select the Brush from Toolbox
  • Click Size Adjuster Tool

    You can adjust brush size by following ways:
    • Press and hold size adjuster then drag mouse.  To increase or decrease brush size drag mouse left, right, up and down. 
    • Type value in size box.  A circle that appears onscreen helps you to visualize the brush size.

By adjusting the brush size, you can draw an object with different color thicknesses as shown below.

Adjust Brush Opacity

To adjust the Opacity,

  • Select the Brush from Toolbox
  • Click Opacity Adjuster Tool

    You can adjust Color opacity by following ways:
    • Press Opacity Adjuster and then drag mouse.  To increase or decrease color opacity drag mouse left, right, up and down. 
    • Type value in Opacity size box. 

By adjusting the color opacity, you can draw an object with different color variations and can apply effects to your artwork as shown below.
