My Screen Recorder: Previewing Screen Recordings

Previewing Screen Recordings

My Screen Recorder provides an integrated preview to let you to quickly view all your screen recordings.

To preview a screen recording:

  1. Click the Folder shortcut in which the screen recording you want to preview is present.
  2. Search and select the screen recording in the Files list.
  3. Use the preview window to view the screen recording.

        or

  1. On the File menu, select Open.
  2. Select the file from the Open Dialog box.
  3. Click Open.

When files are selected using the second method, if the folder in which the file is present under Folder Shortcuts, then that folder is selected and the file is loaded into the preview. If the folder is not present under Folder Shortcuts then a new is added to Recent Folder Shortcuts.

Full Screen Preview

For a full screen preview:

  1. Follow the steps above to preview a screen recording.
  2. On the Play menu, click Full Screen.

For returning from full screen preview:

  1. Right click on the screen.
  2. On the menu displayed click Full Screen to switch back to normal preview.

        or

        Press the Escape key to switch back to normal preview.

Preview Quality

To maintain the quality at which the screen recordings were made, it is important that you play them in My Screen Recorder. The built-in player maintains the dimensions and thus the clarity. Playing in other media players may lead to a grainy video. All screen recordings you make with My Screen Recorder are saved within a folder shortcut and can be viewed from double-clicking on the file name from the Files List view.

These executable can be distributed as self contained, self-playing applications.
