ÿþ <STYLE> <!-- h1 { } --> </STYLE> <LINK rel=stylesheet type=text/css href="Style.css"><h1>Recording Settings</h1> <p class=level_1_indented>Click <strong>Tools</strong><strong>&gt;&gt; Settings</strong> &gt;&gt; <strong>Recording</strong> to enable the following features:</p> <p class=level_1_indented><IMG border=0 src="SettingsRecordingTab.png"></p> <H2 class=ltr><u><a name=MouseCursor></a> Options</u></h2> <p class=level_1_indented>When you record the screen, by default, the mouse cursor is captured.&nbsp; You can use the mouse cursor to highlight text or to point at the items while making a presentation, tutorial, demonstration etc.&nbsp; However, you can disable it by deselecting the option <b>Capture mouse cursor while recording</b>.&nbsp; Along with the cursor, translucent windows that appear on screen can be captured in the recording by enabling the option <b>Capture translucent windows</b>.&nbsp; This option helps to preserve the translucent effect of the windows in the recording.&nbsp; For example, a notification window that appears to alert users of new events can be captured in your recording.</p> <p class=level_1_indented>You make a recording but may not want the entire media file.&nbsp; You requirement is only a few minutes of the last part of the recording.&nbsp; Save only the last few minutes of your recording, by specifying the number of minutes, in the <b>Save the last "x" minutes of recordings</b> option.</p> <p class=level_1_indented>The option <b>Highlight borders when recording custom regions</b>, is used when you record a part of screen.&nbsp; After you have defined a region to capture, the area to be recorded is highlighted in green.&nbsp; You can adjust the capture dimensions in the <b>Region Selection box</b>.&nbsp; As you record, flashing green border-marks plot the area that is being captured.</p> <H2 class=ltr><u>Select Audio Recording Device</u></h2> <p class=level_1_indented>You can capture the audio from your speakers and the microphone at the same time (Windows 7/Vista).&nbsp; Add narration to your screen recording by speaking into the microphone.&nbsp; You can include the sounds from the computer with the help of speakers.&nbsp; For example, if you want to capture your favorite music playing on the PC during your screen recording, you can select the speakers.&nbsp; Recording the audio from the microphone along with the speakers, allows you to record internet chat or any multimedia applications and add your own narration to it.</p><BR>
