Creative Zen Device Profiles
Creative makes several popular portable media players.
Zen Video
You have two options when ripping video for Creative Zen players, AVI Video for Zen and WMV video for Zen. Generally, the WMV profile will create smaller files with equally good quality and is preferred.
Output Profile >> Creative >> WMV Video for Zen
By default, the video file format is Windows Media Video (*.wmv) and the compressor is Windows Media Video 8. The Frame Rate is set at 25 Fps and Bitrate is 512 Kbps. You can retain, change or set your own video dimensions.
By default, the audio compressor is Windows Media Audio 8. The frequency is set at 44100 Hz, bitrate at 128 Kbps and audio channel on Stereo.
You can change all the settings except for the audio file format, video and audio compressors.
Zen or MuVo Audio
Output Profile >> Creative >> Zen or MuVo Audio
By default, the audio file format and compressor is MP3 ( MPEG 1 Layer 3 ). The Frequency is set at 44100 Hz and the Bitrate is 128 Kbps. Stereo is selected as the default audio channel.
