Understanding the User Interface
Rip DVD Plus was designed to make it easy to find and perform all the program's functions. Everything you need to do can be done from this window.
Menu Bar
You can use the menu bar to perform every action in Rip DVD Plus. In addition, it gives you access to the User Guide, Tutorial, and other resources via the Help menu.
Toolbar
The Toolbar gives you the most commonly used commands with a single click at any time.
Rip Method
Use one of these three buttons to choose what to rip: the entire DVD, only the main movie, or selected titles and chapters.
DVD Viewer
The DVD Player lets you play the currently-selected DVD, using the options you selected. (See Ripping Options.) Using the Player, you can preview exactly what you will be ripping. You can also play and watch the DVD at the same time you rip it.
Ripping Options
The options listed here allow you to select the audio track, subtitle, and camera angle. You can also choose an output format or device and modify the settings of any device from the list by clicking on Customize. You can choose the folder to save the ripped files in. While ripping a video, you can combine all the titles and chapters into a single file by checking the "Merge into single file" option.
