Recording Video/Audio Periodically

You can configure Security Monitor Pro to periodically record the video.  These recordings are saved in the Windows Media Format.  Periodic recording can be useful if you expect to need records later, regardless of whether there is activity.  You can review and analyze the recordings later, at your convenience.

1. Select a device by clicking on its preview window.  Click the Camera Monitoring Options button for the selected device.
2. Click on the Monitoring tab.
3. Under Run Alerts, select the option After every.
4. Specify the time in hours, minutes and seconds (hh:mm:ss) under the After every option.  This is time after which you want the alert to be triggered.
5. Under Select Alerts check the Video/Audio Recording option.
6. Click Configure to open up the settings window.

7. Click OK.

After this alert is selected and configured, you can start monitoring.  At the time interval you set, Security Monitor Pro will record audio and/or video for the duration you chose.  Recordings are saved to the specified folder in Windows Media Format.
