Sending E-Mail Notification Periodically

The E-mail Notification alert lets you send e-mails messages at regular intervals, with an attached snap (still picture).

1. Select a device by clicking on its preview window.  Click the Camera Monitoring Options button for the selected device.
2. Click on the Monitoring tab.
3. Under Run Alerts, select the option After every.
4. Specify the time in hours, minutes and seconds (hh:mm:ss) under the After every option.  This is the time interval after which you want this alert to be triggered.
5. Under Which Alerts do you want to run? check the E-mail Notification option.
6. Click Configure to open up the settings window.

7. If you also want to include a snap with the e-mail, check the Include JPEG snaps with email option.
8. Click OK.

After this alert is selected and configured, you can start monitoring.  Depending on the configuration, Security Monitor Pro will send e-mail notifications periodically.

NOTE: To send e-mails you must have an Internet connection.  If your computer is connected via a proxy then you must first configure the proxy in Security Monitor Pro.  For more details, refer to Configuring the Proxy Server.
