Changing FTP Upload Behavior

Security Monitor Pro allows you to upload video recordings and photos either manually or automatically, delete files as soon as they gets uploaded and overwrite photo files with the name.

To configure FTP Upload behavior, click Tools >> Application Settings >> FTP Settings.

Enable Automatic Upload when Alerts trigger: When this option is checked, Security Monitor Pro starts uploading your video and photo files whenever an alert is triggered.  By default, this option is checked.  There are two ways of automatic upload from which you can choose one of them at a time.

Immediately after file creation: This option allows you to upload the video and photo files immediately when they are created.

Every n Hours and m Minutes: By choosing this option, you can specify a time period in hours and minutes to upload the files after an alert is triggered.

After uploading, delete files from this PC: After uploading to the server, Security Monitor Pro deletes the files from your local computer, thus freeing the disk space.

Overwrite Photo File with the name: This option is useful when you are continuously updating an image on a web site.  By default photo files are uploaded with the name 'SecurityMoinitorPro.jpg'.
