Understanding the User Interface
The application user interface is simple to understand and you can easily access important features and options.
Menu Bar
All the features of Security Monitor Pro can be accessed from the Menu Bar.
Tool Bar
The Tool Bar provides easy access to some of the most important features of Security Monitor Pro.
Camera Thumbnail View
A miniature live preview of each camera is displayed for quick access.
Camera Window
Camera window displays the video streaming from the currently selected camera. The default view is one-camera display. To change the number of camera displays, click View >> Preview Layout.
When you right click on the camera window, a context menu appears. You can access and control the main functions of the camera from the menu.
Event Log Window
The Event Log records all significant events for each camera such as monitoring, recording, broadcasting, alerts, FTP upload etc. It allows you to view the actions that occur for each camera in a chronological order. You can choose to save the event log. They can serve as records for legal purposes.
When you save the log, the Date and Time is specified as the file name.
