Team Task Manager 2.41

Additional Information

  1. My team members don't see the most recent information.

If team members with permission to view your project don't see the most recent information, the information may not have been updated on the server.  You can click on the Refresh icon on the toolbar.  If you can not see the changes even after refreshing then you need to check the Filters.

  2. Team Task Manager shows a warning icon on the status bar.

If a warning icon appears in the status bar, this indicates a possible loss of data or an error while communicating with the server.  The possible reasons for this might be due to server communication link failure or invalid data transaction.

  3. Why do I have only a single project manager for my project?

For a project, only a single team member can be promoted to the level of a Project Manager.  However, additional team members can be assigned Power Member permissions in the project.

  4. Can I gain access to the Database Server from a different network?

Team Task Manager allows you to login from a remote machine outside the LAN that the Database Server is part of.

  5. What does the icon denote?

The icon denotes an Error on the screen.  When you point the mouse cursor on the icon, you will see a tool tip which provides you the details of the problem.  Generally, you will notice this icon in the dialog screens while creating a new project, new task etc.  For example, while you are creating a new project and do not specify the project name, the error icon will be displayed.
