New Version Updates - What's new since the last version
We regularly release new updates to our existing programs. The updates include the most requested feature enhancements for our customers.

In this issue we are highlighting 2 new versions for you to download and try.
    1. Smart Email Verifier
Email verification software to help you clean and validate your e-mail address lists.
      What's new in version 3.2

  • Large Database Support: Smart Email Verifier can now import and verify up to 500,000 e-mail addresses per file. Simply connect to any database, import the e-mails, verify them and export them back to the database.
  • Separate Result Columns: The E-mail list now uses three separate columns to display the results of the three verification levels (Syntax, DNS and SMTP). The results are therefore easier to view and understand.
  • Simpler Import from Popular Databases: Importing from popular data sources like Text files, Microsoft® Excel® Files and Microsoft® Access® is now simple. You need not specify an ODBC driver for these formats.
Download FREE trial version of Smart Email Verifier 3.2
    2. Auto FTP Manager
Advanced FTP Client Helps you Schedule File Transfers and Synchronize Directories.
      What's new in version 3.2

  • Size based synchronization: A new set of Action rules enables you synchronize local and remote folder based on file sizes.
  • Duplicate Profiles: Easily duplicate and create new Automation and Quick Connect Profiles by changing only the desired properties.
  • Convert Quick Connect Profiles: Convert any Quick Connect Profile to Automation Profile and immediately start synchronizing folders.
  • Enhanced Backup: By default, backup now creates new compressed file or folder instead of overwriting them.
  • Browse above remote folder: The File Manager now restricts browsing a remote folder only by the FTP server’s permissions
Download FREE trial version of Auto FTP Manager 3.2

Upgrade Policy for Registered Users: All program updates are free within the same version number. Simply download the trial version, install, and enter your original registration code to activate to the full version.

Q&A: Tips from our Support Forum
    1. WebCam Monitor: Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000
      Q. I have the logitech Quickcam Pro 4000. When I startup webcam monitor it detects the webcam, but then when it is time to get the video from it, it says, "Default or selected video device may be in use by another application or is disconnected".
      A. First, make sure that you select Logitech QuickCam Pro 400 from the Video Devices list.
        To do so:

    1. If Monitoring is in progress then on the Monitor menu, click Stop Monitoring first.
    2. If a device is already in use then stop its preview. To do so, on the Monitor menu, click Stop Preview.
    3. On the Monitor menu, point to Video Devices and select the required video device from the list.
After the correct device is selected, turn off Date/Time Stamping.

MPEG stands for ‘Moving Pictures Experts Groups’. It is a group working under the directives of the International Standards Organization (ISO) and the International Electro-Technical Commission (IEC). MPEG is a committee of experts from the audio, video and computer industries developing an evolving series of standards for compression of moving images.
MPEG-1 defines a framework for encoding moving video and audio, significantly reducing the amount of storage with minimal perceived difference (difference that humans can detect) in quality. MPEG-1 video compression method tries to use previous frame's information in order to reduce the amount of information the current frame requires. In addition, the audio encoding uses something called psycho acoustics - compression removes the high and low frequencies a normal human ear cannot hear.
MPEG-2 is not a successor to MPEG-1, but an addition instead - both of these formats have their own purposes. MPEG-1 is a relatively low-resolution format currently used in VCDs and the World Wide Web for short animated files. The MPEG-2 is a much higher resolution format developed for digital television and used in DVD's.
