I blew it! I have a clip whose edges show my sunshade. Is there a way to create a rectangle with handles that I can use to diminish the size of the clip and lose the black around the edges?

You can use Video Edit Magic's Pan & Zoom effect to remove the portions of the video you do not want to show.

To remove just the corners or the top, simply drag your rectangle to the area you would like to keep, then in click the box 'Set end position to be the same as start position'. Step-by-step instructions on using the Pan & Zoom effect can be found here
