Taking Snaps Manually
Security Monitor Pro provides three methods of taking snaps from an attached video device:
- Taking Snaps on Motion/Noise Detection
- Taking Snaps Periodically (at regular intervals)
- Taking Snaps Manually.
The Take Snap alert is used to configure the first two methods. In addition to this, you can manually take a snap whenever required. To do so:
- Select a device by clicking on its preview window.
- Make sure that the video device is not disabled.
- Make sure that the video device preview is started.
- On the preview and monitoring control bar, click the Take Snap button.
