Security Monitor Pro: Taking Snaps Manually

Taking Snaps Manually

Security Monitor Pro provides three methods of taking snaps from an attached video device:

  1. Taking Snaps on Motion/Noise Detection
  2. Taking Snaps Periodically (at regular intervals)
  3. Taking Snaps Manually.

The Take Snap alert is used to configure the first two methods.  In addition to this, you can manually take a snap whenever required.  To do so:

  1. Select a device by clicking on its preview window.
  2. Make sure that the video device is not disabled.
  3. Make sure that the video device preview is started.
  4. On the preview and monitoring control bar, click the Take Snap button.
