Date/Time and Text Stamp

All videos recorded by the Video/Audio Recording alert are stamped by the date and time when they were recorded. Snaps taken by Take Snaps alert are also stamped. This feature can be turned off.

To turn off date and time stamp:

If Monitoring is in progress then on the Monitor menu, click Stop Monitoring first.
On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the Camera Manager tab, select the camera, then uncheck the option Add a Date and Time on Video Recordings and Snaps.
Click OK.

A text stamp (up to a maximum of 25 characters) can be added to all video recordings and snaps taken. From the Tools menu > Camera Manager, select the camera from the list, then check Add Text on Video Recordings and Snaps. Enter the text in the box provided and click OK.

Turn off this feature if you are experiencing problems with an attached Web camera or Digital Video camera.
