Uploading the Last Snap to the Same File

You can use the Upload The Last Snap To The Same File option when you have a website that displays a snap taken by your webcam.  By overwriting the same file, you can periodically update the picture posted on your website.  When setting up, make sure that the Take Snap alert is selected and is configured to take only one snap.

  1. If Monitoring is in progress, then on the Monitor menu, click Stop Monitoring first
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options
  3. Select the Remote Monitoring tab
  4. Under Upload, click Configure
  5. Under Upload Options, check the Enable Automatic Upload option
  6. Select any Automatic Upload option depending on your requirement
  7. Specify the FTP server's setting to where you want to upload the last snap
  8. Under Upload What, select the Upload Snaps option
  9. Under Upload Files, select Continuously overwrite snap file name
  10. If required, change the name of the file
  11. Click OK
