Active Web Reader Customizer 1.24

Adding Web Pages

Benefits of Adding Web Pages to the Customized setup

If you add Web Pages to the Customized setup of the Active Web Reader, and distribute the setup then these pages are embedded in to the installation of the Active Web Reader.  This means that your users always find it easy to open them in the future.  They can also keep track of any changes on your web page.

Adding Web pages to Customized setup of Active Web Reader

Using this feature in the Customizer, you can add Web pages you want to embed with the Active Web Reader.  Whenever the customized setup is run, the Web pages are automatically preloaded during the installation.  This saves Web publishers and distributors the trouble of convincing users to visit their websites.  They can simply ask users to download the Customized setup of Active Web Reader, with their web pages listed in the browser.

To add Web pages:

  1. Run the Active Web Reader Customizer, the Customizer Wizard is launched.  The Wizard guides you through the process of preparing a customized setup of Active Web Reader.

  2. In Step 3 of the Wizard, you are prompted to Add Web pages to the Customized setup.

  3. Click Add to specify the URL’s of the Web Pages you want to add to the list.  These pages will be available in Active Web Reader when it is installed.

EXAMPLE:

If you want the web page www.deskshare.com to be bundled with the Active Web Reader you need to enter www.deskshare.com after clicking on the Add button.
