Recording Video/Audio Periodically

You can configure WebCam Monitor to periodically record the video from your webcam.  These recordings are saved in the Windows Media Format.  Periodically recording a video can be used when you are expecting a lot of activity.  You can review and analyze the recordings later at your convenience.

  1. Under Run Alerts, select the option After every
  2. Specify the time in hours, minutes and seconds (hh:mm:ss) under the Afterevery option.  This is time after which you want the alert to be triggered.
  3. Under Which Alerts do you want to run? check the Video/Audio Recording option.
  4. Click Configure to open up the settings window.
Learn more about configuring the Video/Audio Recording alert...
  5. Click OK.

After this alert is selected and configured, you can start monitoring.  Depending on the configuration, WebCam Monitor will invoke this alert periodically.  Recordings are saved to the specified folder in Windows Media Format.
